Playful Kiss

one of the series that i am watching over and over again is Playful kiss. It is based on the popular manga, Oh Ha Ni is a clumsy student who falls for the perfectionist, Baek Seung Jo. Oh Ha Ni (Jung So Min) who is in the bottom of her class has had a crush on popular and genius male student named Baek Seung Jo (Kim Hyun Joong) ever since she saw him on the first day of high school. Ha Ni decides to confess through a letter, but is rejected by Seung Jo, who tells her that he hates stupid girls. Fate intervenes when a mild earthquake ruins Ha Ni's family's new house. While the house gets rebuilt, Ha Ni and her dad (Kang Nam Gil) stay at the home of her dad's childhood friend, who happens to be Seung Jo's father. Then Seung Jo (Kim Hyun Joong) falls for Oh Ha Ni (Jung So Min) in a romantic and protective way.see how funny and see how oh ha ni wins Seung jo's heart. Baek Seung Jo is played by Kim Hyun Joong, one of the most handsome korean actors for me. it is the first korean series as well i hope you enjoy this series.

You've Fallen For Me / Heartstrings

If you have watched you're beautiful, you might find the main characters familiar. Yes! they are the 2 members of A.N. Jell Go Mi Nam/Go Mi Nyu ( Park Shin Hye) and Kang Shin Woo ( Jung Yong Hwa). A musical - romance series which surely captive all music lovers out there. SYNOPSIS: Lee Shin is a university student majoring in modern music. He is also the vocalist and guitarist of the band "The Stupid." Shin is known for his good looks, cocky personality, and strong passion for music. Everyone sees him as a cold-hearted person, but he's actually soft inside. He lacks interest in anything unrelated to music and has neither dreams nor plans for the future. He initially likes Jung Yoon Soo, a dance professor at university, but this all changes when he meets Lee Gyu Won. Lee Gyu Won is a bright and outgoing student who was born into a prestigious family and is majoring in traditional Korean instruments, especially the gayageum. Gyu Won's grandfather, Lee Dong Gun, is one of the top 3 traditional musicians of his age and his biggest wish is to see his granddaughter become a traditional music prodigy. Trying to live up to her grandfather's expectations, Gyu Won immerses herself in training and becomes a university student who knows nothing outside of her studies. As her friends are fans of "The Stupid", she was forced to go to the band's concert with them. There she saw Lee Shin performing live, and is immediately captivated by him.

49 Days / Pure Love

I had already watched this series before it aired here in the Philippines. I even slept aroud 4AM for i cant cut a single episode of it. I want to know what will happen next. And surely it made me burst in tears. I was captivated by the Scheduler's charm (Jung Il Woo). Synopsis: Ji-Hyun's (Nam Gyu-Ri) life seems to be storybook perfect. Her parents adore her and her friends all seem to admire her. Ji-Hyun is also engaged and set to marry her fiance Min-Ho (Bae Su-bin) in just a few days. Meanwhile, Yi-Kyung (Lee Yo-Won) is a woman who is completely distraught over her life after her boyfriend died in an accident, and frequently contemplates suicide. She works the night shift at a convenient store, while sleeping in the afternoons. On a fateful day, Yi-Kyung gets off a bus and wanders around. She then stands in front of a busy street and attempts to kill herself by walking into oncoming traffic, resulting in a massive car pile up. At that time, somebody saves her life by pulling her back. At this moment, Ji-Hyun, who is driving nearby, fails to hit her breaks and crashes into a semi-trailer truck that has stopped in the middle of the road. Moments later, Ji-Hyun walks out of her car in a daze. She is shocked to see her body being carted into an ambulance. The only person who seems to notice her standing in the road is a man on a motorcycle. The man on the motorcycle is the Scheduler (Jung Il Woo) - an angel of sorts who awaits to take souls to their final destinations. Ji-Hyun follows her body into the ambulance and watches as the paramedics attempt to revive her body. At the hospital, Ji-Hyun meets the Scheduler again. The Scheduler tells Ji-Hyun that since it was not yet her scheduled time to die, she is given a chance to recover from her vegetable state and live. That is, if she succeeds in fulfilling her mission: she must gather three pure teardrops from three people who truly love her apart from her family within the next 49 days. Ji-Hyun instantly thinks of her fiance and two best friends and is certain she will live again. Ji-Hyun then takes over the body of the suicidal Yi-Kyung in her quest to find three such persons. Ji-Hyun gets a job at a restaurant owned by her high school friend Han Kang (Jo Hyeon Jae). At this time, Ji-Hyun's memory starts to return to her. Before the accident, Ji-Hyun remembers going to see her best friend In-Jung (Seo Ji Hye) to show the bridesmaid dress she had chosen for her. When she arrived, Ji-Hyun saw her best friend and her fiance sitting intimately together in a car. She was then driving to confront them when the accident occurred. Finally coming to her senses about their betrayal, Ji-Hyun now realizes that it won't be so easy to find three people who genuinely love her.In the end of the story, everybody realized that Ji-Min the lost sister of Ji-Hyun is Yi-Kyung ....by seeing her shoes with a star..

Secret Garden

A great twist in the story.Romance, comedy, fantasy, melodrama. I Laughed and cried in the story, a great and unselfish love. Synopsis: The drama tells the story of Gil Ra Im (Ha Ji-won), a poor and humble stuntwoman whose beauty and body are the object of envy amongst top actresses, and Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin), an arrogant and eccentric CEO who maintains the image of seeming perfection. Their accidental meeting, when Joo Won mistakes Ra Im for actress Park Chae Rin, marks the beginning of a tense, bickering relationship, through which Joo Won tries to hide a growing attraction to Ra Im that both confuses and disturbs him. To complicate matters further, a strange sequence of events results in them swapping bodies..

Dream High

I've actually tried to watch this series originally because of the appearance of Kim Hyun Joong. But as I started to see the first episode I've got captivated to it. Mainly because it is a musical series, and i love music. The story is good. Their voices are angelic and the way they perform, total performance. Synopsis: Six students at Kirin Art High School work to achieve their dreams of becoming stars in the Korean music industry. During the drama, the students learn how to develop their singing, songwriting and dancing skills while also undergoing personal growth. Each one of the students have their own strength and their own weaknesses, but with the support and guidance of each other, they strive to debut on stage. Cast Synopsis: Suzy as Go Hye Mi Go Hye Mi is the main character of this drama. Originally from a wealthy family, after her mother's death, her father's business failed and their family fell into debt and his father went to other countries. She is pursued by debt collector Ma Doo Shik and his men for much of the beginning of the drama. Kim Soo-Hyun as Song Sam Dong Song Sam Dong is a naive country boy who follows Hye Mi to Seoul after falling in love with her. He has an exceptional innate musical aptitude without any formal training. Hye Mi gives him a make over where he transforms into a "hottie" and he gets a haircut that resembles Jin Guk's. Taecyeon as Hyun Si Hyuk (Jin Guk) Jin Guk is a childhood friend of Go Hye Mi and he constantly tries to help her. He tries to get Hye Mi to remember their childhood memories. He excels primarily at dancing and rapping. He sings a ballad as his showcase song called "My Valentine". He is in a love triangle with Go Hye Mi and Yoon Baek Hee. After performing with Baek Hee at the music showcase, he debuts with one of Korea's top entertainment agencies as a member of a group called "Group K". Ham Eun Jung as Yoon Baek Hee Baek Hee is Hye Mi's best friend and sidekick at their old school, but she is betrayed by Hye Mi during the Kirin School audition. She is devastated by the betrayal and becomes Hye Mi's biggest rival. She is surprised and confused when she discovers that Hye Mi is apologetic for her actions and wants to be friends again. She has a crush on Jin Guk and is jealous of Hye Mi, who holds his attentions. IU as Kim Pil Suk Kim Pil Suk first appears as a girl wearing a sushi mascot costume during the auditions. She is a girl with a beautiful voice and perfect pitch but is overweight. She has a major crush on Jason, and leaves a lollipop on his locker every day. Wooyoung as Jason Jason is an American exchange student who excels mainly in dancing but is also good at singing. He is courteous and has good manners, leading to misunderstandings with Pil Suk, who believes that he does this because he likes her.

You're Beautiful

a fictional boy band A.N.Jell and the relationship between its members when a female, posing as her twin brother, joins the group. Go Mi Nyu is a sister-in-training. Her twin brother Go Mi Nam successfully auditions for the musical band A.N.JELL but is forced to leave for the United States to correct a botched plastic surgery. Mi Nyu is approached by Mi Nam's manager to pose as Mi Nam while he recovers. She is against it at first but agrees in order to fulfill her dream of finding their mother. Now, posing as Mi Nam, Mi Nyu enters the group A.N.JELL and meets its members: Hwang Tae Kyung, Kang Shin Woo and Jeremy.

Mary Stayed Out All Night / Marry Me Mary

Jang Geun Suk & Moon Geun Young Wi Mae Ri is the cheerful, pragmatic daughter of a failed businessman who had grown used to being constantly on the move to escape from debtors. She becomes fast friends with the free-spirited indie singer Kang Moo Kyul when she nearly ran him over in a car. Meanwhile, her father Wi Dae Han is saved from his debtors by his old friend, Jung Suk, who had just returned from considerable success in the Japanese entertainment industry. Jung Suk, who had harboured a secret love for Mae Ri's mother, sets up a deal with Dae Han to have Mae Ri marry his son, Jung In. In her desperate to escape this predicament, Mae Ri begs Moo Kyul to pose as her husband, and finds herself in even more trouble than before when her father proposes a 100-day period in which she has to divide her time equally between Moo Kyul and Jung In, after which she has to decide who to marry.

My Girlfriend is a Gumiho

One of the best Korean Novelas..Miho and Daewong is so cute as a couple.:) Cha Dae-Woong (Lee Seung Gi) accidentally releases a gumiho, a legendary fox with nine tails who was trapped inside of a painting of Grandma Samshin (三神). He does this by adding nine tails to the fox. The gumiho wanted to be human before, but was not able to fulfill the requirement of finding a husband, because a rumor was spread claiming that she eats the livers of humans. During their first encounter, Dae-woong experiences a life-threatening fall, and the gumiho saves his life by giving him her fox marble (여우 구슬). Later on, Dae-Woong wakes up and meets a pretty girl, not knowing that she is the gumiho that he released. When Dae-woong finds out about what he did, he must try to keep her happy and hide the fact that she is a gumiho from everyone. However, because Dae Woong has gumiho's bead that saved his life, he has no choice but to let her stay with him. As the story goes on, the legendary gumiho, later called Miho, wants to be human. Miho (Shin Min Ah) is informed by a veterinarian named Park Dong Joo (who is half human, half monster) that in order to fully transform into a human, she must drink human blood and give a human her fox marble so that he keeps the fox-marble in his body for a full 100 days. Moreover, Dae Woong will not be able to date anyone else but gumiho within the 100 days. However, Dong Joo does not tell Miho that, after the 100 days pass, in order for her to become human, Dae-woong must die. Trouble brews when Miho and Dae-woong eventually fall in love.

Hi My Sweetheart

One of the best Taiwanese Series that i've watched. And I'm a great fan of LuoZhiXiang Xue Hai (Show Luo) is a certifiable dork who comes from a wealthy family and had been protected by his oldest sister, Xue Bo for most of his life. One day, at age 20, he decided to move out of his comfort zone and study abroad in Hangzhou. To protect his identity as the heir of his family's wealth, Xue Bo, gave him an alias "Lin Da Lang," who is supposed to be a poor student. At Zhejiang University, Da Lang meets Chen Bao Zhu (Rainie Yang): an eccentric, friendless alpha-female social rebel. Lin Da Lang becomes unconditionally persistent for her friendship and endlessly delivers a peaceful and constant variable of support and acceptance to her neglected life. Unaware of Lin Da Lang's background, Bao Zhu teaches him the norms and social baby steps of every day life. As she begins to drop her guard, Da Lang vows to always be with her, and they fall in love. During this time, Chen Bao Zhu's father goes bankrupt and flees, leaving her and her mother behind. Using Bao Zhu's father as an example of poverty and failure, Bao Zhu's mother refuses to accept Lin Da Lang's relationship with her daughter and orders her to break up with Da Lang or she will prevent his graduation. Out of fear for Da Lang, Bao Zhu lies to her mother in a note, and agrees to an arranged marriage. Secretly, however, Bao Zhu plans to elope with Da Lang. At the same time, Da Lang - unaware of the conflict - wishes to propose and confess his true identity and wealth to Chen Bao Zhu. On Bao Zhu's birthday, Da Lang and Chen Bao Zhu make plans to meet, both unaware of each other's mutual objectives for a joint future. Da Lang purchases an engagement ring and heads to the meeting spot; but as Chen Bao Zhu leaves to meet Lin Da Lang, she is hit by a car and knocked unconscious for months. Da Lang continued to wait, but she never showed. Worried, Da Lang later visits her home, and Chen Bao Zhu's mother lies to him and reports she is in Europe and will soon marry someone else, showing him the note Bao Chu left. Unaware of Bao Zhu's true intentions, Da Lang comes to the conclusion he was recklessly abandoned by his first love. Xue Hai drops his alias of Da Lang, loses his simplistic innocent take on life, and vows not to ever commit to a relationship again. Three years later, back in Kaohsiung, Xue Hai has transformed himself into an egocentric playboy and now does not hide his wealth. The new Xue Hai believes that he is invulnerable. Xue Hai overhears Bao Zhu's familiar voice on the radio as a local DJ named Sweetheart. Xue Hai looks, acts and feels like a new person. Feeling he's now unrecognizable, Xue Hai buys the radio station in order to seek revenge. His objective was to coerce her into falling in love with his new self, only to then dump her in revenge. However after seeing Bao Zhu with He Yan Feng (Lee Wei), her high-school senior/judo master, Xue Hai becomes jealous and soon realizes that he still have feelings for her. Xue Hai then sets his mind on destroying the relationship of Chen and her "boyfriend", while he continually pursues her, often forgetting whether it's out of love or revenge.
